CERTIFICATION Rescue3™ - Whitewater Rescue Technician Recreational (WRT-REC)

Dedicated to kayak, hydrospeed, packraft, SUP enthusiasts who paddle and go to the river every weekend. This is a very practical course whose objective is to give a basic preparation that allows you to paddle safely with friends.
We learn the self-rescue basics, rescuing mates, how to do 'safety' in a rapid, removing a stuck kayak and much more.

2 days.

Classroom theory, practice and advanced scenarios.

Good physical condition and swimming skills.

Canoe club members, canoeists, packrafters, hydrospeeder, river SUP non-professionals.

Note for kayak, canoe and rafting athletes:
Taking a bad bath scares everyone and no one is exempt: there are 'athletes who go swimming' and 'those who will go swimming!' If we have a few extra safety precautions, we don't risk hurting ourselves and jeopardising the competitive season.

As the standard is constantly evolving, the WRT Rec certification is valid for 3 years. For maintenance, it is necessary to repeat the entire course or to attend a higher course. (WRT-Pro).

CERTIFICATION Rescue3™ - Whitewater Rescue Technician Advanced (WRTA)

Dedicated exclusively to outdoor professionals, it is theThe evolution of WRT-Pro.
You work in waters of grade 4 and above. You address issues that arise on self-sufficient expeditions to remote locations, complicated river access, research.
Scenarios with different types of interlocking (foot, kayak, raft...) are realised and everything is experimented with simple and complex equipment.

If there are still gaps or doubts about SRT (this applies especially to rope work), we strongly recommend taking the entire course again, as many do.
